Future Stars

Future Stars Gallery

At LEADING IN LOCAL: Interactive Local Media, seven strong startups were invited to participate in our Future Stars program and LOCAL Liftoff Awards competition. Showcasing their products both in the “Future Stars Alley” and during on-stage demos, the Future Stars shared their latest “local” innovations.

Special thanks go out to Punchcard, the winner of our Boston LOCAL Liftoff Awards competition, for allowing us to use its application to drive traffic to Future Stars Alley; the San Francisco winners and finalists (listed below); our special guest judge, Rick Blair; and the voters.

CIAmedia
CIAmedia
CIAmedia is a mobile ad-tech company and in 2013 received the Patent for Call-Triggered mobile advertising. Problem: approx. 40% of calls to Merchants are not answered. Solution: Local Search companies simply load CIAmedia’s SDK into their Apps. When calls to Merchants fail, their app instantly displays alternate like-merchants (Advertisers) in the same neighborhood. Callers simply Click2Call. This Call-Triggered event works independent of whether the user found the number on Google, Bing or any other website/ app. It generates extremely large volumes of incremental Calls to Advertisers.
