BIA Hosting Presentation Covering U.S. Radio Ad Spend Trends for RAB, Sept 25

by | Sep 23, 2024 | Blog

The radio advertising landscape is amid a dynamic transformation, but within it is untapped potential. As consumer habits adapt and digital integration becomes the norm, key industries are reshaping their advertising strategies. Yet, amidst these changes, local radio is showing resiliency.

For 2024, BIA’s U.S. Local Advertising Forecast shows that local radio is poised for a resilient year. Ad revenue is projected to reach $13.6 billion (radio OTA + radio digital), indicating a 1.8 percent increase from 2023.  Looking to 2025, BIA estimates local radio will generate $12.9 billion, with $2.9 billion coming from radio digital.

To help local radio navigate this evolving landscape, we’re excited to announce we are teaming up with RAB to bring proprietary content and insights to their members.

On September 25, 2024, at noon CT, our Managing Director, Rick Ducey, and VP Forecasting and Analysis, Nicole Ovadia, will host an exclusive webinar, Navigating the Evolving Landscape of U.S. Radio Ad Spend, tailored for RAB members.

Rick and Nicole will show key parts of our 2024 and 2025 revenue projections for local radio OTA and radio digital (plus CTV/OTT) and examine the spending patterns of key business verticals. Here’s a summary of the agenda:

  • Overall local advertising projections for 2024 and 2025.
  • Business verticals investing in local radio for 2024 and 2025
  • Opportunities for large and small radio broadcasters
